It was an honour and a joy to design 16 window graphics for Inspired Cannabis Co! The vinyl is hot off the press and freshly installed at their newly launched location in Courtenay, BC.

The mural features the charming shops and foliage lining 5th Street in downtown Comox. It pays homage to icons like the Fifth St Bridge and Graham’s Jewelry Clock, which was mounted in 1951 by Crosby’s jewellers. It also commemorates the historic Palace Theater, which opened in 1940 but demolished in 2008 after devastating fire damage.

The graphics extend down a corridor with illustrated douglas fir trees and Comox Glacier, whose epic skyline can be seen from downtown Comox. Weaved throughout are inspirational words from timeless movers and shakers. There’s even a neon sign cleverly integrated into the front mural, encouraging passer-byers to “be inspired”.

The Inspired team were incredible to work with. They were flexible, passionate, and trusted me to guide the creative process. The company logo was even tweaked to better suit the mural’s colours (sunset, and deep navy)!

Next time you visit Courtenay, visit the shop if you’re looking for an “inspirational” lane to stroll down, or just want to support an amazing BC business owner!
