In fact&#8211;the only times I discuss God is if\/when the conversation takes a natural turn towards that direction. Faith is a touchy subject no matter how it&#8217;s approached, and I never want to present Christianity in an overly-assertive manner.<\/p>\n<p>I realise there is a teeter-totter balance between being &#8216;open minded&#8217; and standing firm in what you believe. I am (or would like to think I&#8217;m) open minded and will listen and empathise with others, regardless of their beliefs and lifestyles. However, where do I draw the line and vocalize my own beliefs? At what point will I say, &#8220;actually&#8211;I don&#8217;t agree because ___&#8221;?<\/p>\n<p>Which brings me to why I was slightly reluctant to post this painting. The imagery is strong and depicts uninhibited praise&#8211;to God. This depiction might lead people who do not believe in God to feel uncomfortable or judgmental about why people gather together to express praise to God in this way. If this offends or makes anyone uncomfortable&#8211;that wasn&#8217;t my intention. However, at the end of the day&#8230;I can&#8217;t deny that I believe my God deserves praise&#8211;with everything I have.<\/p>\n<p>_____________<\/p>\n<p>As per usual, painted via wacom tablet + photoshop.
