It&#8217;s the state flower of New South Wales, Australia and symbolises survival, courage, and resisilience during times of crisis and despair. Perhaps it&#8217;s fitting that I found it to be verrrry challenging to paint (hah)!<\/p>\n<p>This flower reminds me of the varying low points I experienced throughout my twenties. It was a time I struggled with love, my identity, and independence as I lived in Australia, isolated from my family and core home network.
