Stole a few hours to study and paint at Cafe Neve on Rue Rachel today.<\/p>\n

Practising value simplification: I have a bad habit of over complicating values, leading to confusing images.<\/p>\n

I have to remind myself to keep it simple and structure each image around a maximum of 2-3 base values. I have a long way to go but it\u2019s a good start to be mindful about this!<\/p>\n

Based on lessons from Dice Tsutsumi and Robert Kondo\u2019s Schoolism series on Colour & Light.<\/p>\n

P.s.no matter how many landscapes and still lifes I practise, I enjoy painting women the most. They\u2019re just so fiercely beautiful!<\/p>\n
