My husband and I have recently been deeply impacted by a local organization called Journey Home Community<\/a> (JHC). These folks provide housing and essential transitional services to those seeking refuge and asylum in Canada (specifically the lower mainland in British Columbia).<\/p>\n

Part of the reason we’re so moved by this organization is because both our family histories are by backed by stories of immigration. Without the visceral struggles undertaken by our parents and grandparents, we would be stripped of our current spoils of North American comfort and opportunity. We’re conscious of these pasts and are grateful beyond expression to live in Canada today.<\/p>\n

We had the privilege of meeting with the leadership of JHC and have offered to refresh some of their existing branding material. We’re unsure where the collaboration might lead but are all fired up about the opportunity.<\/p>\n
